Phu Sang National Park
178,049 rai of forest along the Thai–Lao border — home to the warm waterfall, limestone caves and study trails.
Declared a national park on 2 November 2000, it covers about 178,049 rai (roughly 285 square kilometres) across Phu Sang and Chiang Kham districts in Phayao Province and Thoeng District in Chiang Rai, with its eastern boundary meeting Sainyabuli Province, Lao PDR.
The park’s highlights are Phu Sang Waterfall and the warm seep pool. It also holds Tham Pha Daeng, Tham Nam Lot and Tham Luang caves, Wang Kaeo Waterfall, Doi Pha Dam, and several nature study trails.
The park headquarters has a camping ground and bungalows, bookable in advance through the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation.
